Is Jesus God

 Jesus was God almighty in human flesh, walking around on earth in the Person of Jesus Christ. Jesus said himself in Matthew 24:30 that the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory. And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other. Now lets look and see what {Revelation}  1:7-8 says. Keep in mind that this is Jesus talking. {verse 7-  Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of him, So shall it be! Amen. verse 8- I am the Alpha and the Omega, says the Lord God, who is and who was, and who is to come, The Almighty. It would appear that Jesus is calling himself the Almighty. John said in Revelation 1:17 when I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said, do not be afraid. I am the first and the last. I am the Living One, I was dead, and behold I am alive for ever and ever! The first and the last are always referred to as God Almighty. Look at the gospel of John, 1:1 in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning through him all things were made, without him nothing was made that has been made.  What this scripture is saying is that Jesus is the Almighty creator GOD; Jesus made everything in all creation. Lets look at King James version- {Isaiah 44:6-8 The Lord, the King of Israel, says--yes, it is Israel's Redeemer, the Lord Almighty, who says it--I am the First and Last; there is no other God.
Who else can tell you what is going to happen in the days ahead? Let them tell you if they can, and prove their power. Let them do as I have done since ancient times. Don't, don't be afraid. Haven't I proclaimed from ages past [that I would save you ]? You are my witnesses--is there any other God? No! None that I know about! There is no other Rock! There is no other God besides Jesus Christ. You have a body, a soul, and a spirit, which is the Holy Spirit.{ unsaved people only have a body and a soul } If you are a true Christian you have all three parts you are whole. God is made up of three parts to. God has a Body -which is Jesus and a spirit which is the Holy Spirit, and a soul which is God the father. God the father has no body, he is just spirit. John 4:24 ( God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.   Jesus also said in the gospel of John 10:30  I and the Father are one. Look at this, when Philip said Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us. Jesus answered. Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, Show us the  Father? Don’t you believe that I am in the Father and the that the Father is in me? Hebrews 1:3 says the Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact  representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word,  { which is Jesus } John 1:1 the word was with God and the Word was God. And in Revelations 19:16 He is The King of Kings and The Lord of Lords.  There is no other God besides Jesus Christ. In the Gospels he prayed to the Father part of himself, because he did everything as an example to us.  1 Corinthians 11:1  Paul says Follow my example , as I follow the example of Christ. He wanted to be, and was, and is the perfect example, and perfect roll model for us to follow. Jesus even had the authority to forgive sin on earth. And the Jews knew that only God had the authority to forgive sin. And so they said that this man Jesus is blaspheming. And Jesus said that before Abraham was  I am. John 8:58, and when Moses ask God in the burning bush, who may I to say is sending me to them. And God said, tell them the great I Am, is sending you. Exodus 3:14 I hope this has given you a new look into God’s word, and that this will clear your mind of who Jesus is.
