Not Of The World

1.Peter 4:4 says {They think you are strange if you don't run with them after the same wild way of living.} and 1Peter 1:17 {He will judge or reward you according to what you do. So you must live in reverent fear of him during your time as foreigners here on earth.} I hope that this is the way that the world sees me, That I am strange and peculiar and that I do not belong or fit in with them sense that is the way the Bible says that I am suppose to be. This world is full of sin, in town where there is a gathering of a lot of people, sin hangs in the air like a thick fog. You are not aware of it but if you are a Child of God and you are saved, then fast and pray and seek God’s presence, then you would feel what I am talking about. Just because you can’t see what is on the other side doesn’t mean that it is not there.
Ephesians 6:12 says [ For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.} Ever sense the fall of man, this world was filled with demonic forces. I believe that the devil has tremendous power, but if you belong to the Most High God, you have nothing to fear. If you know God almighty to be your father, you can tell the devil –you don’t want me to get my daddy, don’t make me go get my daddy!  And if the devil Lies to you take him into the presence of God and say to the devil –now tell Him what you just told me. What I am trying to say is we have tremendous Power over the devil if we would just turn to Him in repentance of our sins and want more of him in stead of wanting the things of this world. God’s power is available to all His righteous ones. If we are in His will and have no known sins that we know of, then nothing will be impossible for us who believe. Matthew17:20 says { if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, `Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. It is no small thing to be in the perfect will of God, to have favor with Him. Psalms 91:14-16 says
{ Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I  will set him on high, because he has known My name. He shall call upon Me, and I  will answer him; I  will be with him in trouble; I  will deliver him and honor him. With long life I  will satisfy him, And show him My salvation.} 91:7-8 says {A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you. Only with your eyes shall you look, and see the reward of the wicked.} How would you like it if the Lord Jesus himself said a prayer for you, don’t you believe that His prayer would have come true. Well He did. In John 17:11-12
{ Now I am departing the world; I am leaving them behind and coming to you. Holy Father, keep them and care for them-all those you have given me-so that they will be united just as we are. During my time here, I have kept them safe. I guarded them so that not one was lost.} This scripture is only for True Christians, those who seek the Lord with all their heart and mind and strength. If you are sinning as a backslider, This scripture is not for you. By sinning you have removed your self out of God’s protection. The devil will tell you that God does not want you and that you have to get right before God will take you back. This is not true, God’s word says in Romans 5:8 {But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.} You can never do it on your own. Jesus is the only one who can help you because he is the only one with true power. Matthew 28:18{Then Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Now lets reed John 17:10 with this scripture in mind, all I have is yours and all you have is mine. By this you can see the tremendous inheritance we have in accepting the Lord Jesus. But keep in mind that we must not only Confess the name of the Lord Jesus, but we are to also live it as well. We cannot be living in a backslidden state and expect the Lord to bless us. The power to conquer sin lies in a consistent seeking after Jesus. When you say – (well I don’t have enough time for God today) you start to loose ground with God and give more power to the devil. At first you do not notes if you are backsliding or not. You wont know it until that empty filling creeps in and you remember the miserable way you use to live before you knew the Lord. This is where you make your dissection, to turn from sin or turn to Him. Some want their sin over the love that Jesus offers and in so doing condemn themselves to eternal punishment. I know the empty way of life I use to live before I know Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour. I know when I am away from the Lord and the spiritually dry feeling that comes along with it. All I can do is praise the Lord because I know that by praising him I draw near to him and I know that He draws near to me. I am not saying that I am away from the Lord by sinning, but that I may be studding for a letter or doing researcher for a short time and start to get away from reading the Bible like I should. You see you can be doing work for the Lord and steal fall away from this presence. When you go back to him and the Love of your salvation is restored you see that the love of the Lord is so sweet. You see what you were  missing and you start to really appreciate what you have in the Lord Jesus. 1Peter 1:7 says {the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold}. 1Peter 1:8-9 {Though you never saw Jesus, you love him. You don't see him now either, but you believe and you're glad. You don't know how to express just how happy you are--it is glorious! You are receiving the salvation of your souls, the goal of believing. When you were saved you received God’s Holy Seed, the seed of the Holly Spirit that lives in you. 1John 9-10 puts it this way {When God makes a person His child, that person does not continue to sin, because God's seed remains in him. That person is not able to continue to sin, because he has become a child of God. This is how we can clearly see who God's children are. Also, who the Devil's children are.} Which means that you cannot stay comfortable in your sin, God will put in you a desire to repent and turn back to him in order to get back the joy you  once had with Him. If they do not have God’s seed in them they will not have the desire to repent because He does not live in them and they do not know Him. God has given us enough default settings to come back to him. He did this by changing our very nature. He changed the way we think, act, speak, the way we are. He totally made us into a New Creature in Christ 2 Corinthians 5:17
{ Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.} You must be born again. God’s Spirit be with you all, Amen.
