What is Saved

How does one get save. First of all only when God calls you, can you be save. The Bible teaches this, so if you hear Him calling you today, don’t harden your heart. It might be that he will never call you again. God says you did not choose me but I have chosen you. He never promise a tommarow. Hear is the plan of salvation in the Old Testament, it is a pattern of the new. Abraham was a pagan, before God call him a friend of God. James 2:20-24 {Fool! When will you ever learn that faith that does not result in good deeds is useless? Don't you remember that our ancestor Abraham was declared right with God because of what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? You see, he was trusting God so much that he was willing to do whatever God told him to do. His faith was made complete by what he did-by his actions. And so it happened just as the Scriptures say: "Abraham believed God, so God declared him to be righteous."* He was even called "the friend of God."* So you see, we are made right with God by what we do, not by faith alone.}At times we see him in the valley and at times on the mountain peak one day he is living in victory, another in fearful defeat. Yet we see God maturing him step by step, day by day. So it is with us. Romans 4:11  The circumcision ceremony was a sign that Abraham already had faith and that God had already accepted him and declared him to be righteous-even before he was circumcised. So Abraham is the spiritual father of those who have faith but have not been circumcised. They are made right with God by faith. So the works comes after salvation this way you can’t say you did it with your own power. How did God meet this man, Abraham. Genesis 12:1-4 {The Call of Abram Then the Lord told Abram, "Leave your country, your relatives, and your father's house, and go to the land that I will show you. I will cause you to become the father of a great nation? I will bless you and make you famous, and I will make you a blessing to others.  I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you. All the families of the earth will be blessed through you.”  So Abram departed as the Lord had instructed him, and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he left Haran.} You can see here that God can call you at any age. Abram went a little way and Genesis 12: 7.  Then the Lord appeared to Abram and said, "I am going to give this land to your offspring.* " And Abram built an altar there to commemorate the Lord's visit. Abraham is our spiritual father because all believers Jew and Gentile came out of this promise. God has dealt with Abram as he deals with all of us. He is the potter and we are the clay slowly but surely he takes away the lumps and bumps. This will be the steps of a every Christian, steps we all must go through. Abraham was one of the Godliest men who ever lived. Yet his fist steps in the path of faith and obedience were stumbling enough! He left his home not knowing were he will end up but he trusted God  and was looking for that city whose maker and builder was God, as we all do. And he marked his territory, He build a tent ,stayed a while. Then God came to him again. We leave the world behind for Jesus, we go a while with him but when persecussion would come to us when we feel dry and not up lifted we end up in Egypt-which means bondage, just as Abraham did. God told Abraham that were ever his sandals step on will be his. And so he travel here and there He became immensely rich he built alters to God Genesis 13:1The Lord's Covenant with Abram Afterward the Lord spoke to Abram in a vision and said to him, "Do not be afraid, Abram, for I will protect you, and your reward will be great. "All Abraham asked for was a son. Gen. 15:3-6 {You have given me no children, so one of my servants will have to be my heir." Then the Lord said to him, "No, your servant will not be your heir, for you will have a son of your own to inherit everything I am giving you." Then the Lord brought Abram outside beneath the night sky and told him, "Look up into the heavens and count the stars if you can. Your descendants will be like that-too many to count!"  And Abram believed the Lord, and the Lord declared him righteous because of his faith.} Those descendants are you and me and all who put their trust in Yeshua-Jesus. And here is the key to salvation repent, believe, and confess himbefore man.  God will help your unbelief. Just ask Him. Say it with your mouth, tell the world you are saved after you have repented of breaking His perfect Law. Even if at this time it is hard for you to believe that he can save you just like that, then believe that you are saved because Jesus, the word of God said it and that settles it.  He can not lie. Acts 15:7-9 { At the meeting, after a long discussion, Peter stood and addressed them as follows: "Brothers, you all know that God chose me from among you some time ago to preach to the Gentiles so that they could hear the Good News and believe. God, who knows people's hearts, confirmed that he accepts Gentiles by giving them the Holy Spirit, just as he gave him to us. He made no distinction between us and them, for he also cleansed their hearts through faith. Also Romans 4:16 {So that's why faith is the key! God's promise is given to us as a free gift. And we are certain to receive it, whether or not we follow Jewish customs, if we have faith like Abraham's. For Abraham is the father of all who believe.}Rom.10:4 {For Christ has accomplished the whole purpose* of the law. All who believe in him are made right with God. Salvation Is for Everyone} Rom. 10:9-10 { For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved.} Rom.10:13-14   For "Anyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."* { But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? John 3 :32-36 these are Jesus’ words { He tells what he has seen and heard, but how few believe what he tells them! Those who believe him discover that God is true. For he is sent by God. He speaks God's words, for God's Spirit is upon him without measure or limit. The Father loves his Son, and he has given him authority over everything. And all who believe in God's Son have eternal life. Those who don't obey the Son will never experience eternal life, but the wrath of God remains upon them."} Conclusion of the matter is, you must repent, then believe that Jesus-Yeshua has Die for your sins rose from the grave and is seated at the right hand of the father, and all you have to say is I believe, then you will be saved  Anastasia Martone
