Are You Regenerated

Regeneration is the renewing of your soul, heart, mind, will, and emotions, done by the Spirit of God. Regeneration is the divine touch of the hand of God that changes your life completely, and forever, if we stay with him.  God will never leave us or forsake us, but we can at any time leave him, by choosing our sin over him. By putting your own selfishness and greed ahead of God, we separate ourselves from Him. Here is the way you can tell if you are a Regenerated, Born Again, Saved Spirit filled Warrior for God. Try to remember the way that you lived your life before you were saved, try to remember all the things you use to do that you knew were wrong, and compare that life style with the way you live now, and see if there is any difference. If you are living the same way you were then, and doing all the same things you did when you were unsaved now in the present, then you have no signs of Regeneration, you are not saved. The Holy Spirit, if you have it will Regenerate your soul. There is another way you can tell if you are Regenerated, if you hate the evil of the world, and cling to the things of God. The book of James 4:4 says You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world is hatred toward God? Anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God. And again in 1 John 2:15 Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 1 Corinthians 10:21 put it best when Paul wrote You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons too, you cannot have a part in both the Lord’s table and the table of demons. you can’t have one foot in the world and one foot in Christ. The Lord Jesus Christ will not share his glory with the sinful world, unless they repent and turn to him for forgiveness. When you become truly saved or a born again Christian, you will automatically fall in line with Scripture, and start doing what it says, because if you have the Holy Spirit, it will not be in contradiction to the word of God. All drug use, smoking, Drinking, filthy language, perverted thoughts, and other actions caused by demonic influence will stop because the Spirit of Holiness has entered in to your heart driving out all wickedness. All this is in accordance with 1 Corinthians 3:16 which says Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temples and that God’s Spirit lives in you? Verse 17 If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him, for God’s temple is sacred, and you are that temple. If the Holy Spirit lives in you then you are God’s Holy temple, but if it doesn’t you are an empty shell. Who ever loves the Lord Jesus is saved, so how do you know that you love him or not? Here is what Jesus has to say about who loves him and who does not. John 14:21 Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. So according to scripture, anyone who is not obeying Jesus’ commands truly doesn’t love him. Jesus said the same thing in the book of Matthew 7:21 Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of Heaven, { But only he who does the will of my Father who is in Heaven.} Obedience is everything with God. God says in the old testament to obey is better than sacrifice. 1 Samuel 15:22. So remember just because you say, I am a Christian, and I am going to heaven, first make sure you truly love God by keeping his commandments. There are so many people who are going to get left behind because they think they love God, but are not keeping his commandments. This letter is not one of rebuke, rather a wakeup call for so called Christians. God is not willing that anyone perish but have eternal life, that is my wish also. The Grace of God be with you all.
